Palisade Sconce

I designed Palisade to showcase its spectacular glass. Because the glass is extraordinary, I wanted the fixture to have a clean contemporary look. Palisade's diffuser consists of more than one hundred free-form hand-cut pieces of crystal clear glass. Fusing them together creates subtle vertical ripples on the surface. I love the rich texture of this glass and how it refracts and reflects light. To me, the finished Sconce, with its thin-striped glass walls, looked like a row of irregular stakes - so I named it Palisade.
